New Lions DT D.J. Reader might not be ready to start training camp

Two positives come to mind:
1.That all the Lions players except D.J Reader are expected to be ready for the start of training camp or relatively soon afterwards.
2.D.J.Reader is a long time NFL veteran. While Reader will need to adapt to the Lions Defensive system, his overall NFL experience should help with the transition. A player with much less NFL experience and being in a different system would be set back much more than I anticipate Reader being.
