Kyle Peko is likely viewed by the Lions brass as mainly a Run Downs DT. Peko's experience under Terrell Williams helps Peko's cause of making the Lions 53 man roster or getting a Practice Squad opportunity with the Lions, if he's released by the Lions this summer, and he doesn't get a contract offer from another team that satisfies him. Because the Lions are relatively deep at DT, Peko has a challenging road again to survive the cutdown to 53 and the days that follow.
