No surprise that the Lions decided to move on from Will Harris. That much more after the Lions addressed CB in the first 2 Rounds of the 2024 Draft.
Will Harris was one of the Lions most versatile players but he wasn't a good starting option at any position on Defense. Harris was a good, not great Special Teams player for the Lions.
The bottom line is the Lions have reached a point in which Harris would have had an uphill battle to make the Lions 53 man opening day roster. It's probably best for Harris that he signed with a different NFL team.
I wish Will Harris well with his new opportunity with the Saints.
