Detroit Lions to host Texas A&M TE Jace Sternberger on draft visit

Jace Sternberger has significant upside potential. As he gains more upper and lower body strength, he should become a much better all around blocker. And more strength should also help Sternberger in traffic as a receiver.
My guess is Sternberger goes somewhere in Round 3, with the lower half of Round 2 is the highest he will be taken. With Round 4 the lowest he will be taken.
Because Sternberger doesn't have great speed and /or differential blocking potential, he certainly doesn't appear to warrant pick #43 in Round 2 ( Lions pick ). Though I hope there are better options with pick # 88 in Round 3 for the Lions, it's realistically possible that Sternberger will be one of the Lions best options if he lasts to that spot.
