The Lions health situation on the Offensive Line and at DT are huge concerns going into what has become the Lions most important game of the season through this point in time. That much more because the Broncos have won 6 out of 7 games, with their Defense immensely improved since early in the season. A fast start against the Broncos would go a long way in the Lions home crowd noise being a differential factor for the Lions.

Under the circumstances of the Lions coming off a 15 point loss in Chicago, losing 2 out of the last 3 games, and the overall play by the Lions in the last few games. I'm glad many are picking against the Lions for the game against the Broncos. The Lions won't lack motivation to get a much needed will against a Broncos team that has won 6 out of the last 7 games.

As important as the game in Detroit is for the Denver Broncos, each of their final 3 games are even more important for them because they are AFC games.

For the Lions, technically, each of the final 3 games are more important than the game against the Broncos, because 2 are against Divisional opponent Minnesota and the other is at Dallas, another NFC team. Yet, because the Lions are at home, coming off a loss, and haven't played as well since the bye (most recent 5 games), the Broncos game feels like its close to a must win game from the standpoint of remaining in control in the NFC North race.
