The Lions failed to take advantage of the Packers acute injury situation. The Saints will be severely shorthanded at WR vs. the Lions. But the Lions can't afford to take lightly anyone on the Saints Game Day roster this coming Sunday. The Saints are at home in a domed stadium that has given them a major homefield advantage in an enormous number of games over the years. With the Saints coming off a loss in Atlanta, now tied with the Falcons for the NFC South lead, and being back home, this is a huge game for them.

Under the circumstance of Chris Olave suffering a concussion in the Saints loss in Atlanta this past Sunday, it's good news (regardless of the Lions chances of winning the game potentially being reduced) that he was able to participate on a Limited Basis. With Olave having at least one previous concussion prior to this season, it wouldn't surprise me if he's not cleared to play vs. the Lions.

Because Frank Ragnow has a Back Injury as part of the Lions Injury Report listing, there's at least some uncertainty regarding his availability for the Saints game. Most likely, Ragnow will practice tomorrow, with Ragnow starting in New Orleans on Sunday.

I have great respect for Cam Jordan for what he has accomplished as a player for the Saints over the years and as a person. At this stage of Jordan's career though, he's not the player that was Pro Bowl caliber for many years.
