Taylor Decker is now relatively healthy, unlike when he played in Green Bay in Week # 4 with a high ankle sprain that kept him out of the previous 2 games. The bad news is that Jonah Jackson very likely will miss his 2nd straight game because of a wrist injury. With the Packers likely playing the run more aggressively in Detroit on Thanksgiving Day, the Lions will probably need to often throw on 1st Down to increase the chances of the Lions staying ahead of the chains. With the play action passing game an essential component of the Lions Offense.

My major concern for this game for the Lions is the Lions Defense was on the field for 75 snaps against the Bears. If the Lions trail in time of possession as tomorrow's game moves along, fatigue on Defense could become a substantial factor in the game.

The Lions were fortunate that the Bears CB Jaylon Johnson dropped what would have almost certainly been an interception return for a TD. This was in essence a 14 point swing, with Lions RB Jahmyr Gibbs scoring a rushing TD on the next play.

Isaiah Buggs signed a 2 year contract back in March. But there's a pretty good chance he won't be back with the Lions for the 2024 season.
