PFT’s Week 8 2023 picks, Florio vs. Simms
Raiders at Lions (-8)
The Lions will take out plenty of frustrations on the Raiders.
Florio: Lions, 38-13.
Simms: Lions, 34-24.
..........
This is a game in which the Lions are the better team on paper. Having said that, games are won on the field, with preparation a key component.

Will Raiders RB Josh Jacobs finally have a 100-yard rushing day?
.........
I'm definitely not taking Josh Jacobs lightly and I hope none of the Lions Defensive players takes him lightly.
Having said that, when the Lions have problems against the run, it's usually against Offenses that have a QB who's a dangerous runner. None of the Raiders QBs fit that description.

Detroit Lions looking for bounce-back performance on Monday night: 'We ain't frauds'
.........
The Lions have handled the national stage well under Dan Campbell. Especially, in the last 3 prime time games (2 in Green Bay and 1 in Kansas City).
Unlike those games, the Lions are at home tonight and are favorite to win the game. With the spread 7 points (it was once at least 8.5 points). While the Lions injury situation on Offense is concerning, I'm confident the Lions will be ready and focused vs. the Raiders.
