The Abdomen injury is one that Amon-Ra St. Brown didn't have going into the game at Green Bay. Each day ahead this week should provide a better gauge on whether he's going to be cleared to play vs. the Panthers.

If there's significant risk that the groin injury will get worse if Amon-Ra St. Brown plays in this game and/ or he would be at greater risk for a different injury, as a result of trying to compensate for the groin injury, the Lions should keep him out vs. Carolina.

Panthers Week 5 injury report: Donte Jackson questionable vs. Lions

With Panthers top CB Jaycee Horn on IR with a Hamstring injury he suffered in the Panthers loss to the Falcons in their season opener in Atlanta, the football health situation of Donte Jackson is that much more significant for them. Jackson got hurt in their loss to the Vikings last Sunday. As the game went on, it took its toll on the Panthers against Justin Jefferson and co.

Lions downgrade Jahmyr Gibbs to Doubtful, elevate Dylan Drummond for Week 5
.............
No surprise on this end with Jahrmyr Gibbs being Downgraded to Doubtful and Dylan Drummond being Elevated from the Practice Squad for the Panthers game. I think there's a good chance Drummond is on the Game Day Roster and is used as a Slot Receiver on at least a few plays during the game.

Lions’ WR Amon-Ra St. Brown (abdomen) and RB Jahmyr Gibbs (hamstring), both listed as doubtful for today, are not expected to play vs. the Panthers. WR Jameson Williams, who is listed as questionable and is coming off his gambling policy suspension, is expected to play vs. the Panthers, per source. The team already had ruled out rookie CB Brian Branch due to an ankle injury.
