Seahawks Lose Game, Several Starters vs. Rams as Pete Carroll Provides Injury Update
.............
The LA Rams upset win in Seattle was by far the biggest surprise for me in Week # 1 of the NFL season. The margin of victory was shocking, until I saw the information regarding the Seahawks rash of injuries from the game.
The Seahawks remind me of a wounded animal. They are a very talented team, with a high caliber coaching staff, led by HC Pete Carroll. If the Seahawks injury situation improves for the game in Detroit, in the manner that Coach Carroll seems to be indicating, a game that I was already very concerned about going into the season, becomes that much more difficult for the Lions.

What OL options do the Lions have if LT Taylor Decker can't play?
.............
If Taylor Decker is unavailable in all or part of this game, moving Penei Sewell to LT seems like the only viable option for the Lions. This, despite the fact that Sewell's best position is RT.
While RG is Big V's best position, I'm not as critical of his play at RT in 2020, knowing that he was dealing with a foot injury that kept him out for several games that season. Big V also contracted Covid-19 during the 2020 season, and he had a Concussion. Though it's far from ideal to have only 2 starters on the Offensive Line in their usual respective positions, the combo going from Left to Right of Penei Sewell, Jonah Jackson, Frank Ragnow, Graham Glasgow, and Big V, would probably be the best way for the Lions to proceed, if Decker is sidelined. Especially, if Decker is on the Game Day Inactive list. Massive change on the Offensive Line during the game is that much more concerning.

Seahawks Week 2 injury report: 3 players DNP
...............
This info is regarding Wednesday's Seahawks Practice.
Barring a setback, Devon Witherspoon appears to be on a path to make his Seahawks/ NFL Regular Season debut, in Detroit, 3 days from today.

Lions’ Josh Paschal could miss multiple games after suffering ‘episode’ at practice
..........
Even with the Lions quality DE and DT depth, the loss of Josh Paschal is a substantial setback for the Lions. It wouldn't surprise me if Paschal is placed on In-Season/ Short Term IR.
Connor Galvin is a prime candidate to be elevated from the Practice Squad for this game. It's also realistically possible (less likely) Galvin is signed by the Lions from the Practice Squad before tomorrow's roster option deadline for this game. One way or another, an Offensive Lineman from the Practice Squad will very likely be available to play in this game. The Lions need to have 8 Offensive Lineman on the Game Day roster in order to have an extra player on the Game Day roster.

............
Boye Maye, a talented Edge player for the Seahawks, didn't practice today, after having limited practice yesterday. He probably has around a 50% chance of playing in this game.
Jamal Adams is probably on a similar path that Emmanuel Moseley was on with the Lions last week (before suffering a hamstring injury either in practice or sometime before Tuesday's Lions practice this week).
