No surprise at all by this transaction. Craig Reynolds had a strong pre-season finale at Carolina. Dan Campbell is a huge supporter of Reynolds, who's a very good Lions culture fit.

Very good job by Brad Holmes and Dan Campbell maintaining the rights to Julian Okwara. At some point this season, Julian Okwara could very realistically be the difference in the Lions closing out one or more games. He's a valuable Edge rusher insurance policy.

My guess is Julian Okwara will be activated to the Lions 53 man roster, though it might not happen this week, and it might not even happen until near the 21 day window ends.
