In most other seasons, Brandon Joseph's play this summer would have very likely put him on the Roster Bubble if he was an UDRFA in those respective seasons.

With the Lions having a better Safety situation at this point in time, Brandon Joseph had very little chance to beat the odds as a UDRFA surviving his rookie cutdown to 53.

I think there's only around a 25 % chance Brandon Joseph will be claimed off waivers tomorrow. If Joseph clears waivers, I think he will be a high priority Practice Squad signing for the Lions.
