The ankle injury Denzel Mims suffered derailed the progress he was making in training camp.
I think it's likely that Mims will clear waivers. If that happens, I'm anticipating an injury settlement agreement between Lions and Mims. If this happens, the Lions and Mims could agree to a contract (probably a Practice Squad contract at first) during the season. IMHO, this is a very realistic possibility.
