2023 Detroit Lions UDFA tracker
Detroit Lions 2023 undrafted free agent tracker
........
Leading up to Lions Training Camp, I plan on starting threads for at least some of the Lions 2023 UDRFAs. This thread can also be used as a general thread regarding Lions 2023 UDRFAs.
The following 5 Lions likely UDRFAs are the players (in this order) that I believe have the best chance of being on surviving the Cutdown to 53, also having the best chance of being on the Lions 53 man roster at some point in the 2023 season.
1.RB Mohamed Ibrahim, Minnesota
2.S Brandon Joseph, Notre Dame
3.DT Corey Durden, NC State
4.WR Chase Cota, Oregon
5.OT Connor Galvin, Baylor
Kansas State QB Adrian Martinez, had a Pre-Draft visit with the Lions. With Lions 3rd Round Pick Hendon Hooker coming off a torn ACL knee injury, the Lions need another throwing arm for at least the off-season. Very realistically for part or all of training camp. An added benefit of the Lions adding Adrian Martinez or another QB, is the Lions will have a QB with familiarity to the Lions system, in case there's a need to have that QB during the regular season.

Corey Durden isn't mentioned in the Lions Wire Article and the Durden link isn't working in Pride of Detroit Article. I did see the following though:
Once UDRFAs are signed, the first major milestone for them is to be on the team's roster for the beginning of training camp. It's safe to assume that some of the UDRFAs the Lions end up signing will be released some time before the start of training camp. One or more Tryout players will likely be used to the Lions 90 Man Maximum Off-Season roster.
