Graham Glasgow returning to the Lions at a price that appears to make sense for the Lions is welcome news! Glasgow has a proven track record as a good player with the Lions, he has two seasons working with Lions Offensive Line Coach Hank Fraley, when the latter was the team's Assistant O-Line Coach, and has been a NFL starter at both Guard positions & Center. At the very least, the Lions now have a good primary depth option for all 3 Interior O-Line positions.

It's safe to assume that BOTH Big V and Evan Brown won't be back with the Lions for the 2023 season. One of them might be back. If it's Big V, it's very likely under the terms of a restructured contract.

For Big V to remain on the Lions roster, he's very likely going to need to restructure his contract. This is regardless of whether the Lions brass believes Big V will be the Lions starting RG or not.

At least from a culture standpoint, Graham Glasgow is a great fit. I'm optimistic that Glasgow will be more than that, at the very least providing interior Offensive Line versatility.

This is a favorable contract for the Lions.

With Big V restructuring his contract (downward) with the Lions, the Lions should have a good primary backup at Guard. Graham Glasgow also should provide this insurance at Center.
