This is a decision the Lions needed to make. Tim Boyle just doesn't have the physical abilities and innate abilities needed to play QB on the NFL on a level that a team can win with any consistency. If Boyle ends up back with the Lions on the Practice Squad, it should only be for as long as a higher upside QB has enough familiarity with the Lions Offensive Scheme and playbook, that he can play in a game, if necessary.
