My guess is the Lions will pass on Montez Sweat if he's available at pick # 8. Yet, if the Lilns trade down and Sweat is still available, he will get serious comsideration. So much depends on the Lions other options.

Of the 3 options, I prefer option 2 by a wide margin. Even with ideally the Lions not drafting a TE with pick # 8, at least the Lions would be getting 3 players that would be good fits that can be justified from a value standpoint.
