It certainly wouldn't be surprising if Josh Paschal is placed on the Regular Season PUP List.

The most likely outcome is Josh Paschal begins the season on the Regular Season PUP List. Then at some point during the middle of the season or a little later on, Paschal is cleared to practice. Then the 3-week practice window in whether Paschal is activated to the 53-man roster or is placed on I.R., begins.

This is much needed good Lions news. The Lions will probably be without DE Charles Harris a 2nd straight game, because of a groin injury he suffered in practice leading up to the Patriots game. But the Lions will be better equipped against the run with John Cominsky back and Josh Paschal ready to make his NFL game debut. Also, the Lions will have a much better interior pass rush situation on 2nd, 3rd, and 4th longer distance situations for a 1st Down. The Lions need Julian Okwara to step up off the edge.
