Because Jamison Williams has differential potential and then-some as a WR, I hope the Lions don't use him on Special Teams at any point this season.

In future seasons, as Williams is much further away from the knee injury he suffered back in January, then it would make sense to use Williams on returns, if a game or season is on the line.

My guess is when Jamison Williams is activated from the NFI list, he won't be on the Game Day roster for the first game he's on the Lions 53 man roster. I think barring an injury setback, Williams would play in the 2nd game that he's on the Lions 53 man roster.

It's less than 9 months since Jamison Williams tore his ACL. It's more than understandable that the Lions are being cautious with him.
