PFF ranks 3 Lions offensive linemen as Detroit's top players .........

Lions Offensive Line situation ( 2021 season )

Assuming Special Teams is not part of the discussion, I agree that Frank Ragnow, Taylor Decker, and Penei Sewell are the Lions top 3 players going into the 2022 season. Another Lions Offensive Lineman, LG Jonah Jackson, was the only Lions player in the most recent Pro Bowl. Jackson was selected as a Pro Bowl Alternate. While I don't think Jackson is currently is one of the Lions top 3 players, he clearly has gained the respect of many opposing players and coaches.

Lions training camp position preview: Offensive line
...........
All things considering, the Lions are in very good shape with the team's Offensive Line. The only concern I have at this time remains depth at Tackle. Matt Nelson is better as an extra blocker than as a Tackle (pass blocker in that role). While Nelson did improve as a RT in the season finale vs. Green Bay, a veteran backup FA option at Tackle is something I hope the Lions address this summer.

Updating the Detroit Lions offensive line options for Week 2

Lions vs. Commanders Injury info: Game # 2 ( 2022 )
detroit-lions-forum.proboards.com/thread/1543/lions-commanders-injury-info-game?page=1&scrollTo=7453
Prior to this season, Logan Stenberg had practice snaps at Center. If I recall correctly, Stenberg had problems with the Shotgun Snap. Most likely, Stenberg had some Practice Snaps at Center in recent days. I have no idea who else the Lions coaches are even considering using at Center vs. the Commanders, if Evan Brown is sidelined with an injury. I'm surprised that Ross Pierschbacher wasn't elevated from the Practice Squad for the game. The decision to go with Anthony Pittman over Ross Pierschacher as a Practice Squad elevation (in addition to Dan Skipper) is a highly questionable decision. If Stenberg is needed at Center during the game, then both a Guard position and Center will have in-game changes. This on top of the changes that have already occurred on the Offensive Line, due to injury in recent weeks.
