D'Andre Swift tabbed as most overhyped fantasy football RB
..........
The OT game that D'Andre Swift carried the ball 33 times was the tie in Pittsburgh.
The added bulk strength that Swift added in the off-season remains an x-factor regarding Swift for the 2022 season. Swift only played on 1 drive in the pre-season. This was against the Falcons, on a long scoring TD drive, which was completed by an impressive TD run by Swift.

Duce Staley doesn't want D'Andre Swift to worry about getting hurt
.......
Barry Sanders and before him, Walter Payton were exceptions, not the norm regarding RBs that were durable much more often than not. With the overwhelming majority of RBs that are starters, injuries are going to cause them to miss one or more games at least in half their NFL seasons. Usually, more often.
While DeAndre Swift probably has had more injury issues than most starting NFL RBs, it's not to the point (at least yet) where his career is even close to being derailed.
Though there are some situations in which it would be better for D'Andre Swift not to absorb contact at the end of the play, for the most part, I agree with Duce Staley's approach. When a player is thinking of avoiding injuries, it could easily increase the chances of an injury.

............
If not playing D'Andre Swift at Dallas ends up making the difference for Swift being relatively healthy moving forward this season, it's best he doesn't play in this game.
