The splash plays by Levi Onwuzurike need to become much more frequent in his 2nd NFL season. This in addition to Levi playing at a much higher(figuratively) overall level. If Levi Onwuzurike is relatively healthy and continues on the path this off-season that Dan Campbell described, he would be an answer to a key Lions question mark: Much better team Interior Passing rush.
Health is by far the # 1 question mark regarding Levi Onwuzurike. The decision was made for him not to have surgery. Whether the non-surgical plan in place for Onwuzurike will prove effective remains to be seen. The Lions have a lot riding on it.
Even if Levi Onwuzurike returns to practice and is able to play in a game, I'm not optimistic that his back injury is going to enable him to get through the season without the injury significantly limiting him.
