Great job by the Lions front office and by Evan Brown & his agent in working out a contract that will continue the team / player relationship another season.

Brad Holmes, Dan Campbell, Michael Disner, and their support staffs have done a great job in the last few weeks working out contracts with Jason Cabinda, Josh Woods, Josh Reynolds, C.J. Moore, and Evan Brown. All are players that make the Lions overall team better.

Evan Brown signs with the Lions for less than his RFA tender value

Evan Brown clearly sees the benefits of remaining with the Lions for the 2022 season. Being that Brown was an UDRFA who didn't establish himself on Offense, until being with the Lions and that Lions Offensive Line Coach Hank Fraley is returning, Brown used sound judgment with his decision to re-sign with the Lions. Many, maybe even most, in a similar position, would have gone with a more risky path.
