Based on the contract numbers that were mentioned in the article, Mark Barron likely will get plenty of Defensive snaps unless he doesn't come close to the Steelers expectations for him.

The Lions probably won't sign Vontaze Burfict this off-season. However, there are two reasons why I won't come close to ruling out the possibility of the Lions signing him:
1. The first half of the December, 2017 game vs. the Lions before Vontaze Burfict suffered an injury late in the half, was the player the Bengals likely hoped to get week after week. Burfict kept the Bengals in the game. Making it realistically possible for the Bengals to pull off the upset.
2. A number of other talented Bengals players have signed with the Patriots in the Bill Belichick era. The Patriots prefer big LBs. The Lions are largely trying to follow the 'Patriots Way'.

If Vontaze Burfict signs with the Raiders, it should increase their chances ( and decrease the Lions chances ) of being on Hard Knocks this summer.

Shane Ray only has 2 combined sacks in the last two seasons, after 12 combined sacks in his first two seasons. The Seahawks have a major need for edge rush help. If any team can get Ray's NFL career back on track, it's the Seahawks that jump out.
