The Bears ground game has not been impressive so far (better than the Lions though) and hopefully, David Montgomery is not a major threat in the passing game so he shouldn't be a mismatch for our LBs. That said, I doubt that the Lions run defense is as good as the Rams / Browns run defense.

One thing in particular that's encouraging ( relatively speaking ) is the Lions have slightly better rushing stats than the Bears. The Bears running game started out well at the LA Rams but has worsened each game. The injury that knocked Andy Dalton in the 2nd QTR of the game # 2 against the Bengals has taken its toll on the Bears Offense
David Montgomery isn't a dynamic receiver ( or runner ). Yet, he has a history of helping move the chains as a receiver, in addition to a runner. From my point of view, Montgomery has good hands and runs good routes.
In addition to what you mentioned regarding the Rams and Browns Run Defenses, the Bengals run Defense is vastly improved through the early part of the season. The Lions run Defense has also noticed improved this season but not to the extent the Bengals run Defense has.

5 bold predictions ahead of Bears vs. Lions
…… If this game is being played in rainy and / or windy conditions, the Lions running game becomes even more important than in a typical game. Running the ball, protecting the ball, and Special Teams play, more likely than not will decide the outcome of this game.

……….
The bottom line is the Lions need to be prepared for all 3 of the Bears QBs in this game. All 3 could very realistically end up playing on one or more snaps.

Bears announce Justin Fields will start vs. Lions
…………
I'm anticipating the Bears will play to Justin Fields' strengths against the Lions than they did in their loss to the Browns. The Lions need to especially be prepared for designed plays to get Fields outside the pocket and not let him escape running vertically in the middle of the field.

PFT’s NFL Week Four 2021 picks
Lions (+3) at Bears MDS’s take: My upset of the week is the Lions, who are playing hard each week for Dan Campbell, beating the Bears, who are struggling mightily with Matt Nagy. MDS’s pick: Lions 17, Bears 13.
Florio’s take: The Bears will simplify the offense (it couldn’t get much more simple) and play sound defense. With rain in the forecast and Jared Goff having small hands that struggle to grip a wet ball, advantage Bears.
Florio’s pick: Bears 20, Lions 17.
……………..
A close game, regardless which team wins, is the most likely outcome.

Bears inactives: Andy Dalton, Tashaun Gipson OUT vs. Lions
………..
Breshad Perriman not being Active for this game reinforces the decision by Brad Holmes and Dan Campbell to move on from him.
Jesse James and Christian Jones are Active. They are backups. Desmond Trufant didn't make it through the Bears cutdown to 53 players. He signed with the Saints the following week.
Prediction: Same score as last Sunday but with a different ending:
Lions 19, Bears 17.
